Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's love for theatre at school led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she received the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. from the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. She performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp performed Abyssinia and Aida on stage, in addition. Sharp's work is not limited to screen or stage. Sharp has written and written a number of projects. Alongside performing, she is currently developing an album. When she isn't working in either front of cameras, or recording in the studio songs, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in shape boxing and studying Krav Maga.. She also enjoys playing piano, hiking and long journeys. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
