Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned her name as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived in the city for her entire childhood. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
