Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy has been a television actress for more than 30 years. She was born in Edmonton Alberta Canada, on November 25, 1968. The show she was on was Law and Order She was on Law and Order along with Chris Noth. Hennessy, born in Edmonton Alberta was one of the main characters on the series. Her father, John Hennessy was a meat salesman, and executive in sales/marketing who required extensive travel and resulted in frequent moves for the family. Her mother Maxine a secretary quit the family in 1982, leaving her daughter to be partially fostered by her paternal grandmother Eleanor in Kitchener Ontario. Jacqueline has an identical twin brother as well as an older sister, both of whom are magazine writers and television host of shows from Canada. Hennessy traces her ancestry to Irish French Swedish Italian on her father's side, and predominantly Ukrainian Roma along with Austrian on her mom's. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to appear in the subway system of Toronto. Hennessy was a twin in Dead Ringers with her older sister. Her name was on the short list for the role of Dana Scully on The X-Files According to Gillian Anderson the actress who ultimately got the part. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two sons.
